PrideInn Backs MomNDota Duo Ahead of the WRC Safari Rally Kenya

PrideInn Hotels, Resorts & Camps reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Kenyan talent, sports tourism and women in motorsport through its partnership with the MomNDota rallying duo, Caroline and Tinashe Gatimu, ahead of the 2026 WRC Safari Rally Kenya.

The mother-daughter team received a significant boost from PrideInn as they prepared to take on one of the most demanding events on the global motorsport calendar. The partnership was officially marked during a flag-off ceremony held at PrideInn Azure Hotel on 6 March 2026, ahead of the Safari Rally, which took place from 12–15 March in Naivasha.

The partnership represented more than a sporting sponsorship. It reflects PrideInn’s commitment to championing local talent, empowering women in sport and promoting Kenya as a leading sports tourism destination.

Speaking during the flag-off, PrideInn Hotels, Resorts & Camps Chief Operating Officer, Varun Arora, highlighted the strong connection between the spirit of rallying and the values that PrideInn seeks to embody.

The Safari Rally is renowned for its challenging terrain, endurance and unpredictable conditions, while also showcasing Kenya’s spectacular landscapes to a global audience. By supporting the Gatimu duo, PrideInn aligned itself with a sporting platform that celebrates determination, courage, resilience and excellence; values that strongly resonate with the hospitality group’s brand.

For Caroline and Tinashe Gatimu, the partnership was also an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the growing role of women in motorsport. Tinashe competed in the African Rally Championship (ARC) class, alongside her mother Caroline, with the team targeting a strong performance and a finish in one of the world’s most challenging rallies.

The partnership further strengthened PrideInn’s contribution to the conversation around gender inclusion in motorsport, a sport where women and men compete under the same regulations and on the same challenging stages.

Beyond the excitement of the rally, the partnership supported PrideInn’s broader focus on sports tourism and meaningful community engagement. The WRC Safari Rally continues to attract international competitors, media and motorsport enthusiasts, while positioning Kenya’s landscapes and adventure experiences on the global stage.

For PrideInn, supporting the MomNDota team was therefore an opportunity to be part of a uniquely Kenyan sporting story, one that combines family, determination, adventure and national pride.

As Caroline and Tinashe took to the rally stages, they carried with them the support of a brand committed to seeing Kenyan talent thrive.

PrideInn’s partnership with MomNDota is a celebration of what is possible when courage meets opportunity; on the rally stage and beyond.
